Ruckus Labs Brand Identity Concept
Brand Identity, Logo Design, Visual Exploration

Ruckus Labs is a concept brand exploring how a children’s maker space or STEM workshop could feel creative, energetic, and a little mischievous without becoming visually chaotic.
The goal was an identity that could appeal to kids without feeling overly juvenile—and flex across signage, merchandise, digital products, and educational materials.
Built for Making a Little Ruckus
The identity draws from building blocks, classroom creativity, childhood experimentation, and retro children’s toys.
Rather than relying on predictable STEM imagery, I focused on the feeling of making: curiosity, movement, trial and error, and hands-on discovery.
Bold geometric typography creates the structure, while the deliberately unruly letterforms and colorful mark keep the identity playful.
The result is simple, recognizable, and flexible enough to grow into a broader visual system.
